EAST RANDOLPH--Ermie Johnson, 93, of Kissimmee, Fla., formerly of East Randolph, died Saturday (July 4, 1987) at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Port Orange, Fla. Born March 8, 1894 in the Town of Napoli, a daughter of the last Irving N. and Minnie Scott Boardman, she was a former resident of Napoli and Randolph.... Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of East Randolph High School in 1913, Fredonia Normal Teacher Training Class in 1915 and New York State College for Teachers in 1925. She taught junior high science in Falconer, Chautauqua and Medina high schools, retiring in 1954. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Florence Swanson of East Randolph; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Also a brother, Walter Boardman of Port Orange, Fla., and a cousin Lucille Pickup of Ellington. ... Burial will be in Randolph Cemetery....
