Dr. Walter Boardman, 87, of Viking Drive, Port Orange, Fla., formerly of East Randolph, died Monday, June 18, 1990, in his home, following a lengthy illness. He was born July 31, 1902 in the town of Coldspring.
Dr. Boardman received degrees from the State College at Fredonia, Albany State College and Columbia University. He received a superintendent's certificate in 1940 and doctor of education degree in 1941, both from the New York University. ...
Mr. Boardman is survived by his second wife, Corrine, his step-daughter, Hilda Flassig, both of Port Orange; and two nieces... His first wife of 60 years, Betty, deid Oct. 1, 1988... A memorial service was held in Randolph Cemetery at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 24.
