Born March 13, 1927 in Barnwell, South Carolina, Mrs. Connor was the daughter of Melvin Grubbs, Sr. and Aggie Still Grubbs. She was a member of Pittman Street Baptist Church and was a wonderful wife and mother.
Surviving Mrs. Connor are her husband: Eugene C. Connor of N. Charleston; a son: Patrick Eugene Connor of N. Charleston; a daughter: Deloris Connor Gibson and husband Albert of Mt. Pleasant: a brother: Melvin Grubbs, Jr. of Barnwell, SC: three grandchildren: Crystal Jewell, Catherine Fuller and Clayton Gibson; three great grandchildren: Dylan Jewell, Logan Jewell and Noah Fuller.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Remer Grubbs and six sisters: Reba Dyches, Elizabeth Black, Mary Jowers, Lessie Grubbs, Gladys Miles and Louise G. Odom.
