Cameron Bunting, a lifelong res-
ident of Albion, passed away at the
state T.B. hospital at Mt. Vernon
last Wednesday as the result of a
heart attack. He had been a patient
there for a good part of the last two
years, suffering from T.B.
Mr. Bunting maintained a monu-
ment shop in Albion for many
years and held a number of po-
litical appointments under Repub-
lican administrations.
He was born October 18. 1882. the
son of the late Jesse and Eliza
Michels Bunting. Surviving are one
brother, D. T. Bunting of Fairfield
and two sisters, Mrs. Allen Walker
of Winter Haven, Florida and Miss
Alice Bunting of Anna.
Services were held from the In-
gram Funeral Home on Saturday
afternoon with Rev. Donald Frantz
officiating. Interment was in
Graceland cemetery.
