Services for H. Burton Mennen, 75, Rt. 1, Walton, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in McCloskey-Hamilton-Grundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 9:20 a.m. Monday in his residence
Born Aug. 10, 1915, in Tippecanoe County, he was the son of Herman and Pearl Burton Mennen. On March 16, 1941, in Lafayette, he was married to Marjorie C. Cunningham, who died Dec. 22, 1981. On June 29, 1985, in Lafayette, he was married to Martha "Betty" White, who survives.
He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of Union Presbyterian Church.
He was a member of Elks Lodge #66 and Eagles Lodge #323, both in Logansport.
Also surviving are two sons, Roger, Kokomo, and Alvin C., Rt. 3, Logansport; two daughters, Patricia Bevington, Kokomo, and Mari Bryan, Rt. 1, Galveston; two stepdaughters, Marsha Summer, Versailes, Ky., and Ellen Hess, Lafayette; three brothers, Hobart, Crawfordsville, Glenn, New Richmond, and Harold; two sisters, Ruth Tribby and Mary VanCamp; seven grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
The Rev. Chester W. Wilson and the Rev. Jim Long will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Rock Creek cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Hospital Hospice Fund
