Pamela Jane (Ainsworth) Easley, 60, of Canton, MS passed away in Jackson, MS on July 18, 2017 surrounded by her closest family.

She was born in Greenwood, MS on February 26, 1957 to Billie Sue and Tommie Dean Ainsworth of Greenwood, MS. She attended Cruger Tchula Academy. Pam married Barton Easley and together they had two daughters, Cary Jayne and Laurie Beth. As a homemaker for most of her life, she dedicated her time to her children and stayed engaged in their lives. Later in life, she pursued a career in retail where she served as Dillard's Bridal Consultant. She was creative, witty and excelled in any task that she set her sights on. Over the course of her life, she enjoyed mastering various creative outlets: painting, cake decorating, seamstress, scrapbooking and knitting to name a few. Most of all, her most favorite past times were enjoying music, researching her family history and reading. She loved providing updates on her findings at family gatherings and forums.

Pam is survived by her father, Tommie Dean Ainsworth; husband, Barton Easley; daughters, Cary Brantley (Steven) and Laurie Beth McCaa (Trent); six grandchildren, Jacob Sutherland, Anna Sutherland, Sam Sutherland, Allyson Brantley, Emily McCaa and Lillie Barton McCaa; and four siblings, Cindy Lunsford, Dean Ainsworth, Robin Kelly and Allen Ainsworth. She was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Sue Ainsworth.

Memorial services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS on Saturday, July 22, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am and service beginning at 11:00 am. Fellowship for family and friends will be held at the funeral home after the service.
