Mattie F. Anthony Chrestman age 93, of Southaven, MS died on September 3, 2021 at the Yalobusha Nursing Home. Born July 4, 1928, in Water Valley Mississippi. She was the daughter of Eddie A. and Fannie P. Hall Anthony. She was a member of Carriage Hill Baptist Church of Southaven, MS outreach leader for joy n Faittis Clarr.
Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. at Carriage Hills Baptist Church in Southaven, MS with her pastor Bro Matt Bradley. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley.
Her nephews will be her pallbearers; Steve Chrestman, Claude Anthony, Jerry W. Anthony, Ricky J. Anthony, James D. Anthony, Anthony Whitehead, Dan Whitehead.
She is survived by her children, John Floyd Chrestman, Tony (Charlotte) Chrestman, Debbie (Russ) Evans, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Floyd L. Chrestman; 5 brothers, James, John Russell, Marvin Robert, Billy Joe and Gene Anthony.
