Mr. Garza died Monday, August 30, 2021, in Lubbock, TX.
He was born July 23, 1949 in Brownsville, TX to Roberto and Maria De Los Angels (Sanchez) Garza. He married Maria Marlena Salazar in Brownsville, in October 4, 1972. They moved to Abernathy in 1990 from Brownsville. Mario was a hardworking man who supported his family. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. He loved his family and will be dearly missed by all.
Mario is survived by his wife, Maria Marlena Garza of Abernathy, 2 children, Veronica Flores of Brownsville and Mario Garza, Jr of Abernathy, 6 grandchildren, Vanessa, Luis, Kassandra, Tommy, Arnulfo and Mia. He is also survived by a great granddaughter, Emerii and a brother, Ricardo Garza of Brownsville.
