Mr. Augustus Noah Moore is the son of Wyatt Moore and Elizabeth Brogdon of South Carolina and Gwinnett County, Georgia. He married Miss Elizabeth Jane Kennedy in 1888. Augustus moved his family from Georgia to Jackson County Alabama sometime between 1898-1900. First renting a home near Powell Crossroads in Jackson County. Sometime later on he bought a home from the railroad in the Dean Community in Jackson County. They lived there until their deaths. Augustus was a farmer and a rock mason. He and his family were members of the Dean Chapel Methodist Church. Their children are; Mannis Herman Moore (1888-1968), L. Mae Moore was born 26 May 1890 and died an infant, James Wyatt Moore ( 1892-1977), Gertrude "Gertie" Moore-Baxter (1893-1978), Amie B. (Moore) Day-Youngblood ( 1895-1970), Oscar E. Moore (1896-1979), Mittie "Kylie" Moore-Graham (1898-1968), George Hamilton "Hamp" Moore (1900-1995), Garland "Buster" Moore (1905-1992) and Burma Aby Moore married second husband Mr. Andrew V. Buchanan in July 1924 Dekalb County, Alabama. Augustus Noah Moore and his family are loved and missed by their family and friends. They will not be forgotten.....
