Ronald "Ronnie" Herriman age 76 passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 27, 2021, at his home in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma.

Ronnie was born on March 19, 1945, in Coffeyville, Kansas to Euel and Juanita (Lindesmith) Herriman. Ronnie grew up in South Coffeyville, sharing his childhood with his two brothers and two sisters. He completed his public education at Lenapah graduating from Lenapah High School in 1963 and completed one year of college at Oklahoma State in Stillwater before joining the US Navy in 1964. After his 4 years of service, he received an honorable discharge in 1969. After returning home he met Karen Warren and he married his sweetheart on October 17, 1970, at the United Methodist Church in Coffeyville. The shared almost 51 years together. Ronnie and Karen could banter back and forth, and he was always quick to remind Karen that she was 18 days older.

Ronnie was a master electrician working with the IBEW Local 226 for over 50 years when he retired, his last 12 years of employment he was filled the position of Local Business Agent managing a large group of electricians. Its no wonder Ronnie enjoyed working with electricity he had an electric personality. He was an energetic, Godly man that was loving, caring, devoted to his Lord and Savior, serving countless hours in the church. He loved his wife like Christ loves the church, always putting her needs above his own. He was a wonderful dad to their daughter, Cara.

Ronnie had several interests that he enjoyed in his down time. He was a true outdoors man, enjoying dropping a line at his favorite fishing hole, or hunting, target shooting, attending guns shows or doing a little "Horse Trading".

An infectious loving smile will be remembered most by his loving wife, Karen of the home; daughter, Cara Haws and her husband Kris; sister, Sharon Kay Kimball; sister-in-law, Leanna Herriman; brother-in-law, Vic Herriman; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Gary Herriman, Vernon Herriman and one sister, Loessa Wise; and brother-in-law, Junior Kimball.

Services celebrating the life of Ronnie with be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 1pm at Emmanuel Chapel, 312 Broadway, South Coffeyville, OK 74072 with Pastor James Feltner officiating. Burial will take place in the garden of Peace at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, VFW Post 1022 and American Legion Post 20 will provide military honors.
