Kathleen, GA – Jodi (Howell) Owens, 47, went home to be the Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at the Houston Medical Center. Services celebrating her life will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 4:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with interment immediately following at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services beginning at 3:00 pm. Dr. Jim Perdue will be officiating the services. The funeral home will have mask and hand sanitizing stations available. Jodi was born on April 21, 1974, in Macon, GA to the late Curtis and Sheila (Sims) Howell. She was a 1992 graduate of Windsor Academy. Jodi worked for many years for Dr. Alex Bell at Family Dental Associates. She was a longtime active member of Second Baptist Church. In her spare time, Jodi enjoyed listening to music and watching her recorded shows. Her life revolved around her family, especially Logan. Jodi was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Bryan Owens; daughter: Logan Owens; brother: Clay Howell (Danielle); nephews: Collin, Preston, Colby and Caden; niece: Saylor.
