Killed in accidental mine explosion, he was a foreman at the Albuq-Cerrillos Coal Co, leaves a wife and two children.

(Newspaper articles indicate all but two of the seven victims to be buried in Madrid, but other accounts say Cerrillos.)

Seven died immediately - by mid December the total was 12, several dying due to burns.

A courtesy funeral for a Scottish brother, Alexander Brown, a member of Ancient Brazen Lodge #17 of Linlithgow, was performed on Nov. 27, 1922 in Cerillos.
