Reverend Clarence E. Folsom, Sr. passed away at the age of 89 after a lengthy illness on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at his residence with his daughter by his side. Clarence was born on October 9, 1931, to the late Archie and Mary (Caverty) Folsom in Tribune, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine (Teny) Griner Folsom; sons Gene and Michael Folsom; daughter, Donna (Gangler) Folsom; brothers, Archie, Sherman and Robert Folsom and his sister, Rosie Burchett.
Survivors include his daughter,Teressa "TJ" Doane; sister, Floretta Otstott; Grandchildren, Jamie and wife Kelly Terrell, Chad Folsom, Hope Gonzalez, Joseph Gangler along with Kasey and husband Thomas Bowles; 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; sister-in-law, Yvonne Folsom and Bonnie Folsom; adopted daughter, Cindi Collier; along with many nieces and nephews.
Per Reverend Folsom's wishes he will be cremated and a celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Halcyon Hospice for their kindness and help during the family's time of need and to Music Funeral Services for their professional and compassionate care.
