Mrs. Marjorie "Margie" Hede Cole, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. She was born on March 4, 1935 in Darien, Georgia and daughter of the late Carl & Annie Lucille Connell Hede. She graduated high school in Hazlehurst, Georgia and came to Jacksonville at a young age. Margie attended Massey Business School and worked for many years in the Construction Industry Business Office. She was a long time member at Pecan Park Baptist Church and loved music and playing the piano. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening and piano playing. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Cole; 2 grandsons: Andrew Corey & Christian Lee Eisch and son-in-law, John Lamb. Surviving family include 3 daughters: Nancy Lamb, Donna (Stephen) Eisch and Debra Cole-Nelson; like a daughter, Barbara Darlene (Thomas) Miller; 7 grandchildren: Melissa Porcelli, Lyndsey Lamb, Michael (Ashleigh) Eisch, Katie (Kyle) Davis, Mendy (Steve) Mace, Matthew Nelson and Marcus Nelson; 9 great grandchildren: Layne, Arthur, Cole, Kaiden, Andrew, Kayleigh, Graysen, Finnley, Hayden and extended family. Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Peeples Family Funeral Home, 14165 N. Main Street with Pastor John Kasper, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service on Friday.
