Mrs. Ferguson
ex-teacher
Mrs. Satie Ferguson, 89, died today at the Jewish Home of Central New York. She was the widow of Morris I. Ferguson. A native of Germany, she had been a resident of the city 80 years. She was a former teacher in the Solvay school system and was a member of the Council of Jewish Women. Mrs. Ferguson was also a member of Hadassah, and was formerly a member of Temple Society of Concord and Temple Beth El. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Hortense Ferguson of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews. Private services will be tomorrow at the Birnbaum Funeral Home at the Convenience of the family with Rabbi Jacob Epstein and Rabbi Benjamin Friedman, officiating. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery.
