Burial will take place April 26, 2004 in the Swiss Cemetery, located in Hohenwald, TN. Visitation will be April 25, 2004 at 4:30. Survivors include wife, Ann (Curry) Humphreys; sons, Trev (Gerri) and Trent (Van) Humphreys; daughters, Trudy Reeves and Tracy (Randy) Hankins; brother, D. D. Humphreys, III; 10 Grandchildren; 2 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, D. D. and Elise (Hinson) Humphreys, Jr., and a sister, Andolyn Humphreys.

Mr. Humphreys was the son of the late D. D. and Elise Hinson Humphreys, Jr., born May 9, 1931 in Waynesboro. He served as Lewis County Assessor of Property from 1972 to 1984
Survivors include his wife, Ann Curry Humphreys; two sons, Trev (Gerry) Humphreys and Trent (Van) Humphreys; two daughters, Trudy Reeves and Tracy (Randy) Haskins all of Hohenwald; his brother, D. D. Humphreys, III of Destin, Florida; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his sister, Andolyn Humphreys."
