Aiken SC - Buel Corley, 48, widely known Bath resident, died at his home in Bath Saturday morning [2/5/1938] after an illness of one month. Graveside in Langley cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Fannie Corley ; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Jones, both of Bath; four sons, T. J., James, Brunson Corley all of Bath, and Nathaniel Corley of Edgefield; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Busbee of Batesburg, and Mrs. Palm [Temples], of Saluda; and one brother, Charley Corley of Columbia. He was a native of Bath community and had spent the majority of his life there. The Aiken Standard (SC), Wednesday, February 9, 1938.
