Betty Lou (Aldridge) Haverkamp, 92, formerly of Attica, IN and had been residing in Lafayette, IN, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 4:20 AM in St. Mary Healthcare Center.

She was born in Winthrop, IN on July 17, 1929, the daughter of the late John Samuel Aldridge and Lottie E. (Collins) Clark. Betty grew up in Warren County and attended Williamsport High School.

She formerly worked in the Administration Department at Purdue University for several years.

Betty was a former member of the Attica First United Methodist Church.

Betty was first married to Denny Haverkamp in 1947 in Attica. She later married Raymond Paltridge in 1973. She was preceded in death by both husbands.

She leaves behind one son; one brother; one sister; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Robert E. Haverkamp; and two brothers, Homer and Frank Aldridge.

Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home in Attica on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 12:00 PM until service time at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Attica.
