Born on October 31, 1940 to Arch and Mary Susan (nee: Gross) Allen in Manchester, KY, he worked as a mill operator and attended the True Faith Holiness Church. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Herman Allen, Gordon Allen, Wilson Allen, Herbert Allen and Jim Allen, and sisters, Wilma Jean Allen and Odie Baker, survivors include his wife of 45 years, Jessie Allen of Maineville, OH, daughters, Debra Sue Asher of Clarksville, OH and Mary Susan Allen of Maineville, OH, brother, John Allen of South Lebanon, OH, sisters, Ethel Hayes of Lebanon, OH and Ester Singleton of Lebanon, OH, grandson, Jason Ray Asher, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation was Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 6-9pm with funeral service on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 11am, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon, OH. Brothers Ray Asher, Brother Brian Smith, and Brother Tom Roach officiated. Interment followed in Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, OH. Arrangements by the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon, OH.
