HAYES, Ethel (Allen) age 77 of Lebanon, Ohio, formerly of South Lebanon, Ohio, passed peacefully Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the Otterbein Retirement Community with her family by her side. Born March 26,1931 in Clay County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Arch and Mary (Gross) Allen and had worked at the former Fred's Mushroom Plant in South Lebanon, Ohio for several years. Preceded in death by her parents, husband- Ernest Hayes, daughters - Evon Coffey and Mary Susan Norman, sisters - Wilma Allen and Oda Baker, brothers - Herman, Wilson, Gordon, Jim, Willard and Herbert Allen; she leaves behind her sister - Esther Singleton of Lebanon, Ohio, brother - John Allen of South Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren - Michelle McIntosh, Sheila Johnson and Doug Coffey; three great-grandchildren; special niece - Ethel Freeze of Lebanon, Ohio and many other family members. Burial will be Monday, January 12, 2009 at 11:00am in the Deerfield Cemetery in South Lebanon, Ohio.
