Born in Jessup, daughter of the late Frank and Hannah Williams Goodwin, she was raised in Archbald and was a graduate of Archbald High School, class of 1939. A resident of Jessup for more than 60 years, she was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. She was employed in the garment industry, working for H&S, Jessup, and Linden Dress Co., Scranton, before retirement. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was affectionately known as "Grandma Alice" to her family and friends. She enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and cooking on Sundays and holidays for her family. But her greatest joy was being in the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Paris "Don" Alunni and wife, Tana, Dunmore; and Tom Alunni and wife, Maggie, Jessup; three grandchildren, Lee Ann Haefele and husband, Brian; Jamie Vinci and husband, Dave; and Paris Brian Alunni and wife, Jeannette; seven great-grandchildren, Rachel, Erica, Daniela, Morgan, Jenna, Paris Brian II and Katie; a sister, Ann Rusavage and companion, Jerry Kearney, Archbald; a sister-in-law, Dolly Goodwin, Archbald; nieces, nephews, cousins; and her lifelong friends and cousins, Leno and Josephine Alunni, Jessup.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie and Robert Goodwin.
