William Bafus passed away on November 25, 2006. He was born on December 14, 1941 to William and Amelia (Schmick) Bafus. He graduated from Williamette University and Purdue University. William was a professor at the University of Puget Sound and an economist for the State of Washington. He married Sharon Decatur in Salem, Oregon; she survives him along with a son, Tyler, of Pacific City, Oregon; daughter, Jennifer Jones, of Union, Washington; grandson, Dylan Jones; and sister, Sandra Brashears, of Hayden, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James. Memorial contributions in his memory are suggested to Williamette University in Salem, Oregon.
