William Eastin Dead.

William Eastin died at his home in Louisburg, Wednesday, February 11th 1920, after a long lingering, illness being aged 74 years, one month and one day.

He was born in Coles County. Illinois December 18, 1846. He was for many years a member of the Baptist church and during the Civil war served his country honorably in Company D, 62nd, Regiment of Illinois Volunteers. He and Emiline Wolfe were married in July 26, 1886 and have since made their home in Louisburg. He leaves besides the wife, one son, several brothers and sisters and many friends.

Funeral services will probably be held Saturday afternoon from the Baptist church conducted by Pastor J. W. Foulkrod. Burial will be in Louisburg cemetery.

William was a member of the Louisburg G. A. R. He had served as a Private in the 62nd Regiment of the Illinois Infantry Volunteers, mustering in in December of 1862 and serving for 3 years, until the expiration of his term of enlistment. He had served in both Companies D and K.

Although both were from Louisburg, they married in 1886 in Harrisonville, Cass County, Missouri. His wife Emmaline had first been married to Dr. George Wolfe, who died in January 1875, in Nevada, Vernon County, Missouri. Emmaline was George's second wife.
