Emily Pearl Lane, 67, died Friday, April 30 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born March 26, 1932 in Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Lee and Nellie Bowman Driskell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. Survivors include: three sons, Julian N. Dean, Sidney, Ohio, Carroll O. Dean and Tony V. Dean, both of Lexington; one daughter, Jeanie Ann Dean, Lexington; three brothers, Hollie Driskell, Corinth, Gene Driskell, Cincinnati, OH and James Driskell, FL; one sister, Ethel Lee Miller, Frankfort; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Blanton Dean. Funeral services were held Monday, May 3, at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold Martin officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
