Sarah C. Beebe, daughter of Lewis and Tabitha Wright was born Nov. 2, 1856, in Bristol township, Greene county, and died Dec. 25, 1946, at her home in Jefferson at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 23 days. Mrs. Beebe and three brothers and two sisters. On Dec. 24, 1870, she was married to Orsemus Beebe in Bristol township, and they became the parents of four children: Frank L. of Perry and Marian Lorence of Jefferson. Two daughters preceded their mother in death, and both were 13 years old. Vivian died March 19, 1889. ***NOTE: Tombstone provides different date for Vivian. The 1885 Iowa State Census also does not show Vivian still in the household. The children listed are Grace (8), Frank (4) and Effie (2). This would also verify the tombstone death year of 1881 is most likely correct.
