Mrs. Sarah Smyth
Service Arranged

SUTTON, Sept. 15 —(Special)— Service will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday in Sutton Baptist Church for Mrs. Sarah Jane Smyth 81-year-old lifelong resident of Braxton County, who died Sunday in Sutton General Hospital after an extended illness.

The body will remain at Berry mortuary until noon Tuesday. Burial will be the family cemetery.

Mrs. Smyth was the daughter of the late E. D. and Arminta Duffield of Braxton County. Her husband J. D. Smyth, died in 1923.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Garnet and Mrs. Gatha Brand of Morgantown. six sons, Field of Newport News, Va., Eolen and A. C. Smith of Sutton, Dasel of Detroit, Mich., Claude of Morgantown and Arlen of Barnwell, S. C.; three brothers, Clarence Duffield of Charleston, William and Robert of Sutton; two sisters, Mr. Mollie Duffield and Mrs. Emma Eakle of Sutton; and a half-sister, Mrs. Fannie Bowers of Sutton.
