Services for Sally Jeffers, 85, 417 S. Washington St., who died at 5:45 p.m. Monday, March 31, 1986, at Sale Hospital after a short illness

Mrs. Jeffers was born April 9, 1900, at Granby. She was a lifelong resident of the Neosho-Granby areas. She was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the Neosho Country Club. She was past president of the Benton School Parent Teachers Association Her husband, Jim Jeffers, died Jan. 18, 1986.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Lou Smothers, Ozark, a brother, Howard Hillis, Rogue River, Ore, a sister, Georgia Shunk, Neosho, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, Neosho.

The Rev. Paul Patton will officiate. Burial will be in Neosho IOOF Cemetery and will be under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.

Pallbearer will be Galen Browning, Gene Pettit, Max Hughes, Bill Towery, Gary Guppy and Jim Rhoades.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Bradford, Jerry Taylor, Ken Barnes, Raymond Welch, John Baker and Gene Haddock.

The family will received friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The body will lie in state until 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Then the casket will be closed.

Contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
