The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church for Kenneth E. Houseman, 73, of 1000 Grandview Drive, who died Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital, Duluth, Minn.
The Rev. Allen Ricks will officiate. Burial will be in Round Grove Cemetery, Morrison, Ill. Visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Snell-Zornig Funeral Home, Clinton.
Pallbearers, all nephews, will be Arthur, Dean, and Donald Houseman, Alvin and Stanley Stralow and Tom Beveroth.
Mr. Houseman was born Feb. 4 1907 in Morrison, to Edgar and Nora Phelps Houseman. He married Vivian Schroeder Dec. 31, 1927, in Freeport, Ill. He worked for 30 years for Climax Engineering Co. as an engine tester and assembler, retiring in 1972.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Knight of Pythias as was a member and treasurer of Clinton Garden Club.
Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Joanne) Rogis of Clinton, and Mrs. Henry (Linda) Craig of Bryant; six grandchildren and a brother, Fred Houseman of Morrison.
He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and a sister.∼Kenneth is buried here according to "Whiteside County Cemeteries," by the Illinois Society Daughters of the American Revolution 1959 as a gift to the Newberry Library.
