Richard Houseman was born Jan. 28, 1938, in Morrison. Surviving are the parents, two sisters, Joanne and Linda, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Houseman and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schroeder, all of Morrison
He was a pupil in the third grade of the Roosevelt school and belonged to the Methodist church Sunday school. The body is now in the Reynolds funeral home, Morrison.

Houseman Funeral
Funeral services for Richard Houseman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Houseman of Clinton, Ia., who died last Friday morning, were held at the Reynolds funeral home Monday afternoon and burial was made in Grove Hill cemetery., Rev. C. S. Hempstead of Clinton officiating. The pallbearers were Jim, Arthur, Donald and Warren Houseman, Eugene Armstrong and Carroll Remmers. The flowers were in charge of Mrs. LaVerne Wright and Mrs. Leslie Wright, while songs were sung by Miss Clara Ackerman and Glenn Craddock, with the former as accompanist.∼Richard is buried here according to "Whiteside County Cemeteries," by the Illinois Society Daughters of the American Revolution 1959 as a gift to the Newberry Library.
