Robert's wife was Mary who later married a man with the surname Eaton. She died 11 Apr 1856, aged 75 years, and is buried in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, where she made her home with her son, Dr. John Quigley.
Little is known of Robert except in the attached newspaper article about the family. According to the article he "died a few years after his father and is buried in Middle Spring graveyard".
