Beverly was born October 10, 1949, in Lincoln to Ralph and Marie (Oehm) Burd. She was baptized into Christ on February 5, 1950, at Pleasant Dale Methodist Church. Beverly graduated from high school in Malcom and attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She worked in Lincoln at Cliff's Notes, the academic publisher, for 17 years.
Beverly married Keith Nuttelman on November 16, 1985, in Pleasant Dale, Nebraska.
She was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Kearney on May 11, 1986. There each Sunday her sins were forgiven and her faith in Christ was nurtured. She was active in the Mary Martha group and Lutherans for Life, and taught Sunday School for more than 25 years.
Beverly was well-known around Kearney for selling apples from the orchard she and Keith have owned and operated since 1985. Over the years countless local children have learned about fruit growing from the 'Apple Lady's' school tours.
Beverly is survived by her husband Keith Nuttelman of Kearney; sons, Christopher and Amy Nuttelman of San Antonio, TX, Jared and Tenaya Nuttelman of Kearney; grandchildren, Joanna and Salome Marie Nuttelman of San Antonio, TX, Declan Nuttelman of Kearney; sister Deborah and Rick Schneider of Pleasant Dale, NE; brother, Duane and Ruth Burd of Pleasant Dale, NE.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.
