Resident Here for Quarter Century Dies Wednesday Morning
Funeral rites will be conducted this morning at 10 o'clock at the Webb chapel for Edward Runnells, 42, who passed away Wednesday at his home south of this city.
The Rev. J. Theodore Goodman will have charge, and burial will be in Olive cemetery.
Mr. Runnells, who had been a resident of this district for twenty-five years, was a native of Indiana. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Leah Runnells; seven children, Pauline, Dorothy, Helen, Edward, Harold, Donald, and Albert Runnells; his mother, Mrs. Annie Runnels of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence McConnell, Mrs. Neva Baker, and Mrs. Merle Spangler, all of this city, and one brother, Fred Runnells of Compton.
