Fred D. Allen, 86, widower of Evelyn Forrester Allen, of 31 Southwoode Circle, died Monday, May 7, 2001. Born in Piedmont, he was a son of the late Luther V. and Martha Davis Allen. Member: Flat Rock Baptist Church. Survivors A son, Phillip Allen, of Irmo; a sister, Beatrice Keys, of Anderson; granddaughters, Christina R. Allen and Angela R. Allen; and a great-grandson, Zechariah Phillip Wallace.

Visitation 6-8pm today at The McDougald Funeral Home. Service 4pm Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial: Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Omit flowers.
