Came to Ann Arbor with her husband sometime between 1851 and 1860 to help care for her nephew's six children from his first marriage and three grandchildren from his second marriage. One daughter, Elizabeth Harriett Wormleighton Edwards. Their daughter married the nephew, also named Thomas Edwards, and had three more children.
