EL PASO, IL - (PNS) -- Loretta C. Haas, 94, died at noon Sunday at Mennonite Hospital Long Term Care Unit, Bloomington, where she had been a patient eight years.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. John O'Connor officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Froelich Memorial Home with a liturgical wake at 8 p.m.
She was born Nov 22, 1887, in El Paso, a daughter of John and Mary Corbley Cleary. She married Arch S. Haas Nov 24, 1910. He died Oct 20, 1965.
Surviving are three sons, Duane, Downs, IL; Vernon, 809 Broadmoor Dr., Bloomington, and Eugene "Duke" El Paso; four daughters, Evelyn Cavallo, Douglas, AZ, Ruth Davis, 200 N Bellmont Road, Bloomington; Rita Harms, Peoria; and Madelon Young, Minonk; a sister, Madelon Ritchie-Williams, Indianapolis; 22 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, four brothers, two sisters and a grandchild preceded her in death.
She was a liflong member of ST. Mary's Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or th eAltar and Rosary Society of the church.
