Bunny and husband Marty joined the Theatre of Western Springs in 1955. She became a dedicated volunteer and was the Box Office chairman for over twenty years. She was named an Active Laureate of the Theatre in 1998 and her portrait is diplayed in the lobby with her statement "TWS has been a family to me and has served as my graduate school ever since the 1950's."
