She was a daughter of Ralph Sullivan and Ethel Eskew Sullivan born in Greenville on February 8, 1939. Peggy graduated from Greenville High School and attended Anderson University. She met her husband Ned, and the couple married in 1959. They had two daughters, Wendy Arndt Holmquist (1960) (Columbia SC) and Ellen Arndt Cannon (1965) (St. Augustine, FL).
Peggy retired from Canal and Southeastern Insurance. She had a wicked and dark sense of humor and was a fighter throughout her battles with lung cancer and COPD.
She loved her daughters and grandchildren – David, Jacob, Olivia, Julianna, and Ned and her surviving brother, Eddie Sullivan. Her brother, Carol Sullivan and sister, Nancy Cothran predeceased Mama. Peggy was and still is much loved.
Entombment in the Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Piedmont.
