James was born on November 26, 1952 to Paul and Letha (Nelson) Cambe in Rensselaer, Indiana. James was a mint farmer working for Materna Mint Farm for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and fixing garden tractors. James loved to talk to people and boating. He also liked to ride his golf cart, and attending antique car shows.
James is survived by his brothers, John Cambe and Paul "David" (Bonnie) Cambe.
James was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sarah Joyce Armstrong and brother Philip Eugene Cambe.
James will be cremated and his ashes interred in Weston Cemetery, Rensselaer at a later date.
