He died Wednesday, Sept. 25, at his home.
He was born in McKeesport, Pa., to Nicholas and Anna Musulin. He was raised and educated in McKeesport. He served more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a night supervisor for 13 years at San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner papers in the San Francisco Peninsula until 1995 when he retired. While in the military he received the Good Conduct Medal with two oak leaf clusters; Air Force Outstanding unit award; National Defense Service Medal with bronze service star; and Airport Longevity Service ribbon. He married Leila A. Musulin on July 26, 1969, in Carson City, Nev. He was a member of VFW Post No. 8577 and American Legion Post No. 582 in Copperas Cove. He had lived in Copperas Cove for six years.
Survivors are his wife, Leila A. Musulin of Copperas Cove; two sons, Dwayne L. Johnson of South San Francisco, Calif., and Darren L. Johnson of Copperas Cove; two daughters, Nichole L. Bisconer of Redbluff, Calif., and Anna L. Musulin of Copperas Cove; a sister, Helen Remouchick of North Huntington, Pa., and two grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
