She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Stewart, in 1980; and a daughter, Norma Batts. Survivors include her son, Clifford E. Stewart, Emporia, KS; daughter, Maxine Whalen, Independence, MO; sisters, Bertha Wood, Sedalia, MO, Juliana Smith, Lancaster, CA; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
