Elisabeth Ann Hughes married Jno D (Johann Diederich) Schumacher of Germany on 27 May 1869 in Colorado County, Texas. They had six children, before his untimely death in 1911.
William Peter Bearrick married Anna Schumaker on 10 August 1916 in Wharton County, Texas. Found in the 1920 census W P Berrich/Bearrick (1853 IL) was in the 1920 U.S. census in Sublime, Lavaca County, Texas. Her Texas Death Certificate states her name as Elizabeth Ann Bearrich, her obituary uses Bearick. Wm. P Bearrick died 26 August 1927 Decatur, Wise Co., TX.
MRS. ANN BEARICK
Mrs. Ann Bearick wife of W. B. Bearick of Sublime died at the home of her son John Schumaker of El Campo Monday morning at 7:25 o'clock, aged 74 years and 9 months,
The remains were taken to Sublime where interment was made Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock Rev. Ed. W. Griffith officiating. Pall bearers were: Claude McKey, Henry Little, Wm. Pustejovsky, Alfred Tesch, J.T. Reese and Frank Matula.
Deceased is survived by her husband W. B. Bearick, one son John Schumaker, two daughters Mrs. August Bock and Mrs. G. M. Greenhaw of El Campo.
Mrs. Bearick was a consistent member of the Baptist Church at Sublime for twenty-one years and lived up to the duties of her faith. She has gone to recive the reward of a faithful life. Peace to her ashes.
