Brenda Gayle Blakely Owens, 74 of Athens, passed away Sun. June 20th, 2021 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Mrs. Owens was born Feb. 14, 1947 in Limestone County to James C Blakely and Jewel Toone Blakely. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Kenneth Owens.
Mrs. Owens retired from TVA, where she worked at the Brownsferry Nuclear Plant. She was also a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 9 – 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
