Emilia Koteen, 38 of Yukon, Oklahoma passed away on April 19, 2021. She was born on June 21, 1982 in Yuma, Arizona to Joe Peynado and Emilia Koteen.

Emilia attended school and graduated from Pasquel High in 2000. She journeyed in life relocating to Oklahoma in 2004, at which time she united with Lorenzo Talamantes with whom she cherished family, life and love.

Emilia was a daughter, sister, wife, mother and dear friend to many.

Emilia was the best mom there was, nothing she did better than to love us. She loved everyone around her. She brought happiness to all no matter her pain.

Emilia was a hard worker always keeping odd jobs throughout her life to provide for her children.

"Your hug meant the world. No body else held me so tight or made me feel so right. No one's eyes shined so bright with love as my mom who is now high above."

"Grief, I have learned is really hjust love. It's all the love you want to give but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and the in aht hollow part of your chest. Grief is just Love WITH NO PLACE TO GO. Always."

Emilia is survived by her husband, Lorenzo Talamantes; her wonderful children Alyssa Koteen; Laya, Ella, Lorenzo Jr., and Adam Talamantes; her parents; her siblings Spencer White, Willis Hawnkins Jr., Gregory Hammond, Gabrile Hammond, Salome Koteen and Ofelia Peynado.
