Edward W. McGee was born in Lewis County, Kentucky in the year 1912, to William Edward and Ella McClain McGee. The family is a long time resident of Lewis County, Kentucky. Edward is the grandson of Alethea Bell Poe McGee Campbell and Albert McGee.
Edward is better know as Woodrow, is was the 4th child born to this union of 11 children.
Edward passed away June 5, 1976 in Mansfield, Richland, Ohio. At the time of his passing he was a widower. The only data that I can find a him having a wife is a 1940 census where Edward better know as Woodrow is living in Ohio with his younger brother Clyde and sister Cora, along with his wife Allie McGee. I haven't found any other data on Edward and Allie.
For a while the family left Lewis County, Kentucky and went to Pennsylvania, upon returning back to Kentucky several of their children stayed in Pennsylvania, others came back with the family some stayed in Lewis County and others moved to Ohio.
