Diana Garrett, age 61 of Dunkirk, Indiana and formerly of Monterey passed away Sunday June 13, 2021 at her home. She was born Sunday December 27, 1959 in Monterey to the late Haskell Miller and Laura Eunice Neely Miller.
Diana worked at Indiana Glass and formerly worked as a QMA at Miller's Merry Manor and Home Health Advantage in Hartford City. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and puzzles. She was a member of Old County Church.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Hewey Justin Garrett Sr. of Dunkirk; children, Hewey Justin (wife, Jennie) Garrett Jr. of Albany; Brittany Diana (husband, Joshua) Edwards of Marion, Chelsey K. (husband, Corbin) Torrence of Spiceland and Marissia A. Peek (husband, Adrian Hubbard) of Greenfield; grandchildren, Candra Shoopman, Jurnee Garrett, Nick Edwards, Jacelyn Walker, Hannah Walker, Bently Edwards, Jeremiah Burris, Wesley Burris, Harrison Torrence, Christopher Peek, Titan Miller and Tiarra Hale; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Delilah Shumaker of Monterey, TN; niece, Laura May Miller and several other nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her son Ronnie Lee Garrett, grandson, Hunter Walker, sisters, Rose Ann Miller and Emagene Miller, brothers, Delmar Miller, Donnie Miller Sr., Ronnie Miller, Ray Miller and Doyle Miller.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Mt. Union Baptist Church in Clarkrange. Interment followed in Campground Cemetery.
