Julie E. Gopon was called home to the Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021, following a short, courageous battle with cancer. Born in Chicago, IL on Aug 6, 1943, she is survived by her devoted husband Gene; children Denise Larsen (Patrick), Jeff, Kevin (Tina), and Steve (Mary); beloved grandchildren Julie, Jessica, Nicholas, Samuel, Regina, Renee, Michael, Gene, Brooke, and Haley; and great-granddaughter, Sterling. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16th from 10-10:30am with a Memorial Mass beginning at 10:30am at St Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville, TX. A reception will immediately follow.
