Stella J. Bingaman 77, of New Columbia Road, New Columbia, passed away on May 28, 2021, at Evangelical Community Hospital. Born in Lewisburg on April 21, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Arthur, Sr. and Thelma (Carter) Reichard. She was married on April 26, 1978, to Orvis D. Bingaman, who preceded her in death on April 8, 2021.
Stella attended Lewisburg schools and was a homemaker. Earlier in life, she worked at the Milton Shoe Factory. Stella was a member of the Sound of the Gospel in Winfield. Stella liked to sing with her husband. Most importantly, she loved her family and cherished every second she spent with them.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra L. Hulsizer; four sons, Gary Hinkle, Jeffrey Strahan, Larry Strahan, and Robert Strahan; a brother, Arthur Reichard, Jr.; two sisters, Rosie Eddy and Sue Wise; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives will be received from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, June 3 at the Sound of the Gospel, 50 Gospel Way, Selinsgrove where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Kenny Cousar officiating. Burial will be in Church Hill Cemetery in West Milton.
