Johnnie "Dianne" Herber was born May 5, 1943 in Athens, Texas and went to be with our Lord on May 22, 2021 in Frisco, Texas. She was preceded by her parents, Robert and Lillie Mae Hethcoat, her sister Barbara, and her husband, Larry Herber. In addition, she was proceeded by her infant daughter, Donna Lynn Stanley and sister Peggy Hellums. She is survived by her son, Darrell Stanley, his wife Maritza and their children and grandchildren, as well as her daughter Alicia Stanley and her husband. Additionally, she was survived by her mother-in-law, Myra Herber and three stepchildren, Jennifer, Jill, and Jeff Herber. Dianne was also survived by her brother, Carroll Hethcoat.
Dianne was a loving wife, mother, and was lovingly called Granny Di by her 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She enjoyed animals, the outdoors, and often travelled to the mountains of Colorado. She was a devout fan of Barry Manilow and John Denver. In her adult life she settled in the Austin, Texas area and considered Georgetown, Texas her home.
Services will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, with a viewing service on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. He final resting place will be next to her daughter at Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery in Athens, Texas
