Leslie Arlene (Mikesell) Wood, age 82, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 15, 2021. She was born November 21, 1938 to Jefferson "Jeff" and Florence (Allen) Mikesell in Spokane, WA. Leslie attended Edison Grade School, Libby Jr. High and Lewis & Clark High School. She was a member of the Community of Christ church. Her passion for over 30 years was researching and preserving family history on the internet; saving photos, stories, and many family trees. She liked to garden and enjoyed her view of Mica Peak.

Leslie is survived by her daughter, Sheryl; son, David; grandsons, Josh Emerick and Rylee Wood; great-granddaughter, Ahri Wood and numerous nieces and nephews.

Leslie was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Boyd; son, Lonnie; sisters, Betty Erlandson, Della Ann Binder, Thelma Winters; brothers, Jim and Ernie.

Leslie will be laid to rest at Spokane-Cheney Memorial Gardens. Her wishes were for no funeral or memorial service. Donations in her memory can be made at komen.org for breast cancer research.
