Willie Barlow Jr.

CHESAPEAKE--Willie Norman Barlow, Jr., 62, of 4220 S. Military Highway, the husband of Mrs. Edna Mae Wynn Barlow and operator of Frank's Truck Stop, died Thursday in a Portsmouth hospital. A native of Smithfield, he was a member of Lake Drummond Masonic Lodge 178, Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies, Khedive Shrine Temple, and Portsmouth Shrine Club. He was a Baptist.
Survivors also include a daughter, Miss Pamela Christine Barlow; and four sons, W.N. Barlow III, Albert G. Barlow, Jerry E. Barlow, and Kenneth L. Barlow, all of Chesapeake; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Pond of Franklin, Mrs. Adoline Ransone of Hampton, and Mrs. Evelyn Skeeter of Smithfield; and six grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. John R. Carraway. Sturtevant Funeral Home has charge. The family suggests memorial donations to Deep Creek Volunteer Rescue Squad.
